chapter 15

In this chapter I got confused when the truck drivers left because I didnt quite understand why and why they sounded rude and said "go to hell". Did they get upset because they gave the food cheaper to the man and kids?

  1. Well the people from the business saw the man and kids needs and knew that they actually needed it more, so they let them pay less because those who had more didn't really care.

    1. But why did they sound mean and say go to hell? Like did they get offended or did they not like the idea of letting them get it for less?

    2. They must have felt offended in a way because they got it for more expensive and this man shows up after and gets it for less. I think its kind of like human nature because of the fact that it was unequal they were in a way protesting.
