I'm predicting that the romantic tension and past actions between Abigail and Proctor will come into play later. Maybe as evidence of possession or something. What do you guys think?
Yah i agree Anna, the fact that Abigail is kinda clingy towards Proctor and telling him about their past "interactions" and the fact that he "loved" her, and how Proctor denies her, kinda foreshadows a bit for more clarification in the play as it progresses.
Well we also have to consider the possible symbolism of Proctor and Abigails possession in comparison to society in the 1950 and as to who each character can symbolize whether it be one person like say a celebrity or a group of people such as the alleged "communists" i believe once the symbolism can be cleared up and realized predicting what is to come later in the story is rather simple. Its a matter of drawing connections
