My favorite part of the ending was Hester and the Scarlet letter. By that I mean she no longer had to wear it, however it's became a part of her and you can even say the scarlet letter is her, so she decides to keep it.I strongly believe she is a brave individual in my perspective because she isnt afraid of embracing it no matter what, even taking the scarlet letter with her through death. Which is symbolic in many ways.
I think the conclusion was quite fitting for the story. It brought closure for all of our character, and often times that is rare to come by in good books
I appreciated the fact that Pearl got to have her own happy life away from the town. It's like that quote from the Grapes of Wrath: "Only a newborn can start over."
