Lena finds Out about Joe Brown
"' Joe Brown' she says. "' Has he got a little scar right here by his mouth"' (Faulkner, 1985, p. 56). Lena asks Bryon about Joe brown, she is familiar with his looks. Who do you think Joe brown is? Do you believe that Lucas Burch is Joe brown? What do you think Lena will do next after finding out about Joe brown? Do you think that Lena will ever find Lucas Burch and start her family?

I think Joe Brown is Lucas Burch, the description of Joe Brown fits the description of Lucas Burch. I think Lena will try to find Joe and Christmas after finding out about Joe. I think she will end up finding Lucas but she won't start the family she wants.
ReplyDeleteI agree I don't think Lena will get the family she is looking for. I feel that Joe Brown will disappoint her.
DeleteFaulkner has given us enough information to make the conclusion that Joe Brown is in fact Lucas Burch. Byron falls in love with Lena so I can anticipate from this that with him in her life she will realize that there is no need to depend on others.
ReplyDeleteYeah I also feel that Bryon will be the one that is there for Lena and her baby. Lucas Burch/ Joe Brown is unreliable and he does not truly love her.
DeleteI do think that Lucas Burch is Joe Brown, but I don't think the family Lena aimed to have will be true because she's been doing the hard work herself and Brown hasn't proved yet that he loves her.
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree, Joe brown is Lucas Burch.The fact that he lied about his name, shows that he does not want her to find him. I also feel that Lena will not get her dream family.

DeleteI do believe that Lucas Burch is Joe Brown. He probably changes his name each time he moves. But i don't think that Lena will start the family she hopes with Burch. It might end up being with Bunch, he seems like a more responsible fella.
