So now we know Jim had no intentions in being with Laura but he made it seem like it. Knowing now that he is engaged and in love with someone else makes us feel a little mad that he'll play with Laura's emotions. Do you guys think he did this out of compassion for her to at least make her happy once in her life or just to get her hopes up and brake her a little more?
I think that it was more that he was in the moment and it just ended up happening. Even if it was to make her happy she would still end up sad in the end, only to be by herself. I also don't think he intention to hurt her, even though he acts like nothing happened and he didn't kiss her.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I don't think he meant to hurt her on purpose, but more like it was in the heat of the moment. Although he kissed her and made it seem like he was interested in her, I don't think he would've gotten his point across that she can be more confident and out there.
DeleteI agree, Kate and John I don't think Jim meant to hurt Laura, I also feel he kissed her out of the heat of the moment. He did not intentional break her heart, he actually built up more confidence in her.
DeleteYeah, Jim really did not know he was attending the dinner as a potential suitor for Laura. So, I don’t think he meant any harm he may have caused her.
DeleteI agree with you Nicole. Tom forgot to mention that he was supposed to be a gentlemen caller for Laura.
DeleteLike I stated, I feel more like Jim kissed her cause he could tell just how bad she needed and who not better than himself.
ReplyDeleteI agree, It wasn't intentional. However i feel like he should not have done that. There are better ways of making her feel special. Raising her hopes up and dashing them will only end up hurting her.
DeleteI think he did it to make her feel loved and to give her hope that there is a chance of love for everyone in this world.
