Do you guys think Rose of Sharon witnessing such a tragic event, like watching the dog's death, might have an outcome on her pregnancy by feeling sorrow for the animal? Do you guys think that the tragedy with grandpa might lead to a strong interaction between the Wilson's and the Joad's since they were both there for each other when they needed it the most?
I believe that what Rose of Sharon witness will affect both her and the baby or either , meaning one may die, since the author constantly talks about how much they want the baby she might end up losing it because of their circumstances. I also believe that the Joad family and the Wilson's do have a strong bond with one another because of this tragedy but it also had it's upside since they are now going to help each other on their trip to California.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that maybe the two families might end up together through out the entire book?
DeleteI think that they are going to try, but because of what the man in chapter 16 said they will get in some problems in the "Promise Land" causing them to get separated.
DeleteI definitely think that there will be a strong interaction between the Wilsons and Joad's. However, I do not think the incident with the dog or Grandpa Joad will negatively affect Rose of Sharon's pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteI believe they will create a bond, the Wilsons and Joads, because the Wilson's helped with Grandpa's funeral. I think the death of the dog foreshadows that something will happen with Rose of Sharons baby
