Chapter 30

I honestly really liked the ending of the book. It came to show that the Joads have always been great, selfless people. Also, they never once lost hope. The novel has a huge lesson to teach which is to never give up. Also, that if you want something really bad you will achieve it.

  1. I agree with you on that the ending of the book was very fascinating. I was intrigued through out the last final chapters to find out what was happening with Rose and her child and what decisions the family would take to remain united. I was astonished with Rose's capability to feed the man even though she was going through the loss of a child. I assume that must have been hard for her because she would have rather been feeding her baby but he unfortunately died.

  2. You're right the Joad family are great selfless people. They never lost hope and were always positive people and i really liked that about them. The ending was really extraordinary, the fact that Rose lost her unborn child but saved a dying mans life was truly amazing.

  3. Exactly! I do not know how she managed to deal with what happened ! And they still continued to help others even when they had nothing
